Verinomi Panel: Users, Permissions and Contacts
You can add the people you work with to your account in two ways: Users log in to the client area with their own details and can do the things you allow; Contacts cannot log in to the client area and only receive a copy of the emails you choose.
Users
On the Account > Users page you can see every user who can access your account: their email address, last login time and whether two-step verification is on. The account holder appears with the Owner label and always has full access. If you see a user you do not recognise, you can remove their access right away.
Inviting a user
- Enter the person's email address in the Invite New User section.
- Choose the access level:
- All Permissions: the user can do everything except manage users.
- Choose Permissions: you decide one by one what the person can see and do.
- Click Send Invite.
If the person you invite already has a Verinomi user account, they access your account with their own login details; if not, they create a new user account from the link in the invitation email. Invitations that have not been accepted appear in the Pending Invites section; from there you can resend or cancel an invitation.
Users with access to more than one account can switch between them with Switch account in the account menu at the top right.
Permissions
When you invite someone with chosen permissions, or later with the Manage Permissions button, you can turn each of these on or off:
- Viewing and changing profile details
- Managing contacts
- Viewing services; managing services (such as password resets, reverse DNS and firewall rules); one-click login to control panels
- Viewing domains; managing domains (nameservers, contact details, transfers)
- Viewing and paying receipts (including the account statement and payment notifications)
- Viewing and accepting quotes
- Opening and replying to support tickets
- Viewing sent emails
- Placing new orders
For security reasons, some actions are available only to the account owner: verifying and changing the mobile number, internal transfers, activity history and notification history, changing the login email on their own and resetting the password by phone. Users turn on their own two-step verification from their own Security page.
Removing access
Click the Remove Access button on the user's row and confirm. The user can no longer access this account; nothing in your account is deleted.
Contacts
A contact is someone who receives a copy of the emails we send about your account. For example, your accountant can receive receipts and your technical contact can receive support replies. Contacts cannot log in to the client area; if the person needs to log in, you can invite them as a user.
- On the Account > Contacts page, choose Add New Contact.
- Enter the person's first name, last name and email address; phone, company and address are optional.
- In the Email Preferences section, tick which emails this person should receive a copy of: general emails, receipt emails, support emails, product emails and domain emails.
- Click Save Changes.
To edit a contact, you can select them from the list, and you can remove them with Delete Contact. On the Billing details page you can also choose a contact as the Default Billing Contact.
